Serbian female tennis star Ana Ivanovic rarely speaks out about her relationship with golfer Adam Scott, but she has recently decided to reveal a few details for Australian paper Herald Sun, including what she likes most about Adam – the fact he does not shy away from household chores unlike most other guys.
-I like the relaxed, laid-back Australian mentality. And I also feel like he’s very helpful around the house. When we’re together he offers to do things and help – much more than Serbian men would. He hasn’t cooked yet ... but he has promised to make me a dish, said the attractive tennis player, who got back together with the Australian this past summer after the couple had been separated for a year.
- It was tough times for both of us. Sometimes you need time apart to figure things out. We felt there was so much more we could achieve with our careers. In the end, it has all been for the good. It has been really nice for both of us.
Ivanovic’s subsequent struggle with injury and mental demons has seen her flick through several coaches. However, it all now seems to have fallen into place.

- This might be the first time I’ve felt good since I became world No.1. When that happened, I was really motivated and inspired to stay there. Then I went through a really tough patch with injury and some bad losses. That played on my mind and I lost my way a little bit ... probably more than a little bit.
Ivanovic admitted to having follow poor advice in the past, but that she had learned from her mistakes. Coupled with poor form on-court, she felt bad for posing for paparazzi and having her photos published quite often, with the emphasis in the media now swinging to her looks from tennis.

- I want to be recognised for what I do in tennis. The photo shoots and fashion are fun, but they are definitely not my priority. I actually find that if I’m not playing well, I feel like I don’t deserve to be in the public eye, said Ivanovic, who is currently enjoying her time with boyfriend Adam in Sydney, Australia, where the couple are training together.

- Adam has been really helpful for me. In the last few years we’ve both been through a lot and he’s now getting back to the top. He can help me with advice and support to get where I want to be.
